Rebecca Chamberlain was born in 1970 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. She received her BFA from Rhode Island School of Design in 1991. Her work has been exhibited at 303 Gallery, New York, NY; Knoedler Project Space, New York, NY; VOLTA NY, New York, NY; judi rotenberg gallery, Boston, MA; Champion Fine Art, Los Angeles, CA; and Agenzio04, Bologna, Italy. She was the recipient of the Joan Mitchell Grant and Artlog Best Booth at VOLTA NY. Chamberlain's work has been reviewed in Artforum, The New York Times, Art in America, Artinfo.com, The Boston Globe, Flash Art and Tema Celeste, among others. Her work is included in the collection of Fidelity Investments and Torys LLP. In 2012, she was awarded a NYFA Fellowship for Painting. Chamberlain completed a residency at The Fifth Season in Don Dolder, Netherlands in August, 2013. Chamberlain lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
